I started dancing in 2000 when I began taking lessons in ISTD Ballroom Latin, I took medal tests and competed in medalist competitions around the country including at The Tower Ballroom in Blackpool. After four years of training in dances such as Ballroom Rumba and Cha Cha Cha, I met Lambada and instantly fell in love with the dance. The modern Lambada is danced to music such as Kizomba and Zouk and is more sensual than its original form. I love Lambada for its grace and fluidity, in 2008 I trained to become a teacher and am now certified by the United Kingdom Alliance (UKA) to teach Lambada. I have taught at the International Lambada Congress in Barcelona and at the 1st Lambada Congress in London 2009.
I also danced with Diablo Dance Company, twice European Team Champions performing around the UK and Europe.
